It looks like many of the car events across the Eastern US had problems with the weather during Labor Day weekend. Many were multiple day events and were able to get at least one day in.

Here's part of whats in store for this weekend.

Mentor City 10th Annual Cruise-In. This is a big cruise. Depending on the weather, expect 1200 to 1500 cars. Lots of prizes. I will be there myself. Beautiful award from BigAlsList.com for the Best in Show as voted for by the participants. RDP Motorsport is giving away lots of certificates for free dyno time - see what kind of power your old sled actually has. The show is FREE to enter. Food and Live Music there too.


S.H.I.F.T. Car Show at the Coal and Coke Heritage Music Festival

Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus in Uniontown. Entertainment by Johnny Angel & the Halos, The Stickers, Harold Betters, Dr. Zoot and the Suits, Tres Lads, Augsburg German Band and more!
Fireworks, Crafts, Kiddie Coal Mine. Proceeds to: Portion to United Way. Car Show with 18 Classes


Gasser Nationals with Swap Meet at Thompson Raceway Park

Gassers, Hot Rods, Altered’s, Front Engine Dragsters, Funny Cars, Drag Racing, Car Show, Vendor Row, Test & Tune, Huge Saturday Night Show. Open to all cars 1972 and Older! See you there Friday or Saturday.


Nitro Antique Car Show 50th Anniversary
The oldest established show in WV. Open to all vehicles. Popular vote judged - special awards Top 50. Also has an Antique small engine and tractor show, Pedal Car display, concert with Beach Boys tribute band Surf's Up and Fireworks. Along with the show, there is a Swap Meet and Car Corral


KKOA Kustom Kemps of America/ North Event
The Kustom Kemps of America,(KKOA), America's oldest continuous running kustom kar klub,is coming north to Plover, WI. Open to all 1969 and older kustoms, rods, muscle, etc. 1970 and newer must be kustom.
